Rotator Cuff Injuries

The rotator cuff muscles and tendons hold your upper arm bone in your shoulder socket. A hard fall, repetitive arm motions or problems with the structure of your shoulder can injure the rotator cuff. Our orthopedic doctors at Nucci Medical diagnose the problem by physical examination and MRI. Treatment options include physical therapy, injections into the shoulder joint, and surgery to rejoin the tendons. Surgery can often be done with outpatient arthroscopy at our Citrus Park Surgery Center.
